1. Disk Defragmentation: Disk Defragmentation will eliminate worthless and redundant files in your system. You can defragment once a week to remove does unwanted files. To get to Disk Defragmentation tools - go to start > accessories > system tools > disk defragmenter >analyze" then defragment. It will take several minutes but it is worth it.

2.Disk Clean Up: This tool helps in clean the hard disk from unwanted files folder. Clean your disk at least once every week. To get started Go to start>accessories>system tools>disk clean up. I suggest you delete files from the recycle bin and the files located in the temporary files.

3. Multi-tasking: please do not opening too many programs running at the same time. it has a way of slowing down your Pc

4. Deleting programs / all files: Delete programs that you are not using that has been laying on your hard disk and taking up space, to do these go to start>control panel>add or remove programs>remove the programs you are not using.
To remove temporary files and cookies from the computer. Go to any browser e.g. Internet explorer -On top of the browser click on tools>Internet options>delete files and then delete cookies. Make your history set to zero. In Opera - On top of the browser click on tools>Advances>cookies>cookies manager>choose the ones you want to delete >then delete.

5. Installing or downloading programs: Watch it! If you have to install or download a
Program from the Internet make sure is a program you really need. You have to be very

6. Antivirus/spy ware software: for you to determine the existence of a virus in your system run a complete scan using an anti-virus software, Always scan your system with anti virus software at least everyday or every week. Beware of files your download because virus/Trojan can attach its self to does files and they appear to be harmless but are very dangerous they could wipe away your hard disk or could make it to misbehave.

7.
